Writing marathon Sunday, April 6, 2025 or anytime!
Point of writing marathon is to sit down and write. That’s it. If you can make it, we will write together from our own corners of the globe for 3 intensive hours on April 6, 2025, 10am-1pm Eastern Standard Time.
This marathon is free for all subscribers.
Instead of using Zoom or chat, we will use the same format as always. I’ll send a post with prompts, and two 3-hour video like these to chose from (one is just music, the other is a NaNoWriMo Writing Marathon). Of course you can use your own playlist/ video instead. We can communicate via the comments section.
Decide in advance where you want to write and what you’ll work on.
1-3 chapters?
Several weeks’ worth of posts?
Set your intention for the session.
To dive into a new project?
To delve into creating or deepening a character?
To keep up an enthusiastic pace?
Prepare water, tea, notes, a sweater, and anything else you need. Now you can have your own writing marathon anytime your schedule permits!
Writing prompts
Write a story in the form of a letter, or several letters sent back and forth.
Write about a character who doesn’t understand the unspoken rules of a given place.
Your whole life has been building up to this moment.
