Memoir with Jerry Jenkins, Ana Castillo's Memoir, x-Prince Harry, Penny Harrison, Scott Horton, Dave Emory, Biggest Substacks, Well Don't You Know Who Killed JFK?
Memoir a nonfiction narrative based on personal memories. A biography or autobiography, in contrast, seeks to record the story of a life in its entirety, whereas memoirs focus on a particular theme or set of themes, events, or periods of time, and often highlight turning points, like H.D. Thoreau’s “Walden.”
Great advice on making your memoir meaningful to readers from Jerry Jenkins:

Here’s an example of a memoir that really touched me, Black Dove: Mama, Mi’jo, and Me by Ana Castillo (beginning at minute 3:40). She uses the 5 stages of grief to write on topics that are painful to write about:
An example of a beautifully written memoir (better written than many prize-winning books, in fact) that would have done better in the fiction category. (Several facts are demonstrably wrong.) The full audiobook seems to no longer be online:
Scott Horton, Anti-War Radio, has extensively researched the insanity playing out in Ukraine (funded by us), and Dave Emory, Spitfirelist.com has for decades traced the roots of the madness. Halford Mackinder’s insane Earth Island Theory from 1905 is the underlying unspoken assumption; nonetheless, it’s still influential in shaping what will no doubt prove to be self-sabotaging foreign policy. We must believe British subject Barak Obama when he says thinking at the strategic/philosophical level is above his pay-grade, unfortunately for us, along with the rest of NATO, I guess, hapless Kool-Aid drinkers who apparently have no access to information.
Bottom line, in Horton’s words, this is a case of “corrupt terrible dim-witted people doing stupid narrow-minded things they should not do even when their betters tell them not to,” or Dirge for Dummies.
Our “leaders” seem oblivious to the fact that Russia always had incredible check-mate weapons systems (like the “Black Hand”) on a shoe-string budget and no doubt it now has a host of brand new next-generation weapons. Hello?! But the Chinese and Russians haven’t pounced yet, so there’s still time to correct our “childishness” and ignorance.
Should you be so lucky, you will look back and see how wrong a once-great nation was to stick to “the narrative” rather than recognize this existential threat.
Wise leaders would apologize immediately for all the nonsense we have perpetrated on the USSR/Russia, beginning with Jeffrey Sach’s economic catastrophe which very well may have been inadvertent, but was exacerbated by stupid World Bank requirements (proof: wealthy countries who get into economic difficulty never follow the World Bank requirements imposed on poor countries who get into economic difficulty), and delusional notions that Ukraine will ever join NATO or the EU. [Apologize for what?! I can hear the push-back, but this is proof of just how selective their knowledge of the situation really is — inexcusable ignorance.] (Ukraine is not “Russia’s girlfriend” as officials with face-value mindsets have stated, but Russia’s first wife and the mother of all of its children.) Geography is destiny. Alaska or Canada can’t just pick up and become new provinces of Russia anymore than Ukraine can realistically hope to enter the EU, no matter how badly future governments may want it!
All that is being achieved is the destruction of Ukraine, the deaths or enslavement of Ukrainians (wasn’t this the goal all along?), and setting up gullible NATO nations to be razed like bowling pins in a row.
Wake up! Wake up! Snap out of the fantasy and learn a few facts for a change:
Substacks to know about: https://pressgazette.co.uk/newsletters/highest-earning-substacks
I love the way everyone pretends we still have no clue under the sun who may have killed JFK if not Oswald. Joe Biden even joked his favorite vice president was LBJ, fully expecting that joke to go over everyone’s heads. But what really happened is on the record, even if it’s been ripped out of many official accounts. Madeleine Duncan Brown gave her life to bring us this information:
Ray Bradbury: Stuff Your Head, Scrap Your Detractors
Born in Waukegan, Illinois, Ray Bradbury (1920-2012) never went to college, but spent much of his childhood in the library, where he was inspired by the Edgars: Edgar Allan Poe and Edgar Rice Burroughs.
