Wow. It's funny how you think you don't make any impact on anyone and then all of a sudden, someone like you leaves a comment that just blows your mind. I suppose that's because when I first started, I wasn't getting any comments. As I started to grow, however, people started to say things. And the things they say? I look at what they do for a living and think to myself, these people are all educated, and I worked in a mill all my life. Anything I've picked up, I've learned, either the hard way, or simply reading fiction that appeals to me. A lot of my fiction comes from my life. I put little snippets of things my father told me, or my mother--or the neighbour who was 75 when I was 11, and told me he watched the Wright Bros film in a small 'odeon' somewhere in Northern Saskatchewan. History stays with you, and before you know it, you're considered old, and you're part of that history. I hope you find a way to express yourself.
Never give up. I think about the long game. But then, I'm retired and can play about here all day! I couldn't imagine what it would have been like here if I were still working.
Wow, someone switched out the 2nd video on the Talmud to something on Nehemiah!
But I am so grateful to all my subscribers, you really are truth seekers, writers made of the right stuff! Not a single one unsubscribed (unlike with the JK Rowling post).
Thank you so much for recommending me! That is so kind.🙇♂️
My pleasure. Your stories encourage me to try my hand at historical fiction in some small way. All thanks to you.

So true. I don't get a lot of comments either, but if people aren't unsubscribing it means they want to keep reading, so that's something.

Remember the song "One of these things is not like the others, one of these things doesn't belong" from Sesame Street?
